More 3D Fun!
Just wanted to show a few new 3D word art(s) I made with a new program(well, new to me. lol) called Hansen Xara 3D Maker. It is really cool and can do so many things. At first I thought... ahh! I wouldn't use this. It's only for fonts. Letters. Word art. But then... when I got started playing with it- WOW! It is so fun! You can turn your dingbats into some cute stuff. Make animated word art to put on your website or blog. I have only had it a week and have made about 700 things! OMG! The alphas I made are just too cute for words! Haha get it? Alphabet? Too cute for WORDS?! LOL. Anyway, I hope you check it out 'cause it made making my 3D alphabets ALOT easier, quicker and more fun. You can download it for free for a trial 7 days and then extend that to 30 days (don't know why it isn't 30 days to begin with) then if you buy it, it is only $39.99 and grants access to thousands more fun styles and textures. It is only for use with fonts. You cannot edit photos with this. BUT- I actually made this wooden spool for thread by manipulating the extrusion and bevels. I even made some cookies! I am sure there are tons more tricks I can come up with after I go buy it. So I know I will be wearin' this one out. lol. So you will see more stuff I created in the program. NOTE: I am not affiliated with this program in any way. I just came across it on the web while searching for a tutorial. But when I find something that works, something that I like to use, then I love to pass the word on so others can find fun in scrapbooking and afford some of the programs. I am sure most people know about PaintDotNet by now, but if you do not, it is a FREE --- Yes-- completely FREE forever! A photo editing software download. That was my first program I used to make my digital scrapbooks and I will always have it on my computer. Even though I have PS and PSE10 along with Adobe Lightroom and Portrait Professional and a few others, I always get the newest brushes, etc. from PaintDotNet. Check it out if you are new to working with layers. I just got CorelDraw and have not even installed it. I honestly don't know if I have room on my HD. LOL. I have to see if it can be installed on my external. If you know anything about CorelDraw, I would love to hear your stories of using it. Or if you just want to share something else, feel free to leave me a comment. Leave me a link. Or email me. I have a few more things to post before this night is over so until my next post... Thanks for stoppin' by. See ya real soon. And OH!!!! I forgot to finish my story from my last post!! I will finish it on my next rambling, okay? Thanks! God bless~~
A Beautiful Day for FREEBIES!
Good afternoon to you. I hope you all are having as beautiful a day as I am here in Florida. It is breezy and sunny, the wind has a hint of magic and the sun is just right- not too hot- as a matter of fact, it is so perfect out today that the stars have come out early to see just how beautiful this day is. lol. Isn't that amazing that the stars can be seen sometimes in the late day when the sun is still shining bright? I love it! I always say I should have studied science, the weather or something besides cakes, because I am such a nerd at heart! lol.
I have been around the blog block today and over at Snickerdoodle Designs she has a freebie transparent/overlay and paper for you to download. She has also shown some great examples of how to use them and what the transparency and overlays do when used. And Sugarbutt Designs has another freebie. They are some amazing photos she took. It must be that time of year because I have been snappin' pictures all week long of flowers outside, too.Jennifer (Sugarbutt) is starting on her spring garden and it made me want to post a few of my layouts featuring plants and flowers in my own yard. Some are quite odd and I am not sure what they are but it still amazes me at the perfection that God has breathed into every living thing that He created. The way the cornstalk has it's fertilizer/pollen on the top tassles that fall upon the leaves, as the rain drops land on the leaf, which is a fabulous bumpy slide with a groove or path for every droplet, they take the pollen with them. The leaf is set so perfect that the tip is right over the ear of corn and as the drop of water, along with the nutrients it picked up on the way, falls from the tip of the leaf- it lands on the silks(little strings) which every silk takes to a kernel and helps it grow.AMAZING! Huh? My Dad and I have sat for days and months and years out at our gardens and on the river(s), talking and learning and in complete awe of God's most divine and perfect designs. BTW- my Dad is the smartest, kindest, hardest working and most honest man in the world. And he taught me almost everything I know! I just wish I could put it to good use like he did. lol. Anyway, I learned ALOT about farming, gardening, etc.. Many people think that the roots need all of the water but actually alot of plants, fruits and vegetables need water frome above. SMILE:) I mean from rain or a sprinkler. Boy have I spent many hours watering gardens when the rains did not come. lol.Last year it was an average of 5 hours every day that I watered. But we had new vineyards so the grapes had to be watered daily until they were well rooted. Well, I feel like I am writing a gardening blog instead of scrapbooking. Ha ha.
Have a great night everyone. Thanks for stoppin' by. I'll see ya real soon! God bless~~

3D Word Art Freebie and link to tutorial
I have a cute freebie for you today.
Good day to all. I found a great photoshop tutorial for 3D word(s) that I found very easy to make in PSE10, surprisingly with a few less steps and I even added a couple steps to make this word art element 'POP'. They really only took 5 or 10 minutes to make all of these. I was very pleased to know it was this easy. I have made 3D letters before but like to always try out other ways of doing things. When I learn something new I kind of wear it out. lol. I have to try every color, every option, every blend mode and then I add my own little somethin' to it. I will send the link to the sweet Sugarbutt Designs, for she has started a facebook page for tutorials, which I cannot wait to check out some of them. She is just AMAZING! I also will put some of my examples up for you to grab. Note- these were my very first try while following along with this tut so they are not the best but if you can use them, then feel free to snag 'em. You may use these as CU and it is nice to give credit but not necessary. Please send friends here to download.Since they are single elements I did not upload to the clouds- you just need to click on the one(s) you want and it will show all of them- right click and save.. It's that easy.I wish we could download everything that easy! I'll be back with some freebies you won't believe. So stay tuned this week for some goodies. Enjoy the word art freebies and head over to Sugarbutt Designs and catch up on some of her fantastic freebies and tutorials.
Here is the link to the tutorial on how to make 3D word art. And here is the link to go visit JJ (Jennifer) at Sugarbutt Designs. Tell her BizzyBee sent you.;)
Here are a few of the word art elements- just right click and saves as... I made several more in various colors and styles. Pink, yellow, the super and hero single words. I think I will make a full alpha like this if it is a hit so let me know by commenting. No comments- no freebies. If I know people are enjoying my designs, I am happy to post them, on the other hand, if noone lets me know what they think then I don't know what you like or what to post. So easy peasy--COMMENT! YAY!
You will notice on the Superstar word arts 2 and 3(gold and blue) there are a couple pixels on the bottom of the u that did not get erased. I did not see them in PSE. Don't know how I missed them but I did fix it on the orange and blue one( I call it the Gator colors-lol). I will be fixing these and putting them back up.If anyone wants them in other colors or a different word(s), just leave me a comment.
I will be back this afternoon to post a sneak peek. You don't want to miss it! Thanks for stoppin' by. I'll see ya real soon. God bless~~
