Trying out new backgrounds~ when I should be busy!

If you happen to stop by and see different backgrounds and/or gadgets every few minutes or hours, it's because I am playing around with things and seeing if I can get things like I want it and even have a little fun. Also trying to manipulate some codes here and there and I am NOT having any luck with that! lol. I really should be doing the cakes for todays orders but all of the neat gadgets for blogger are kind of cool, but it really is getting to me after hours of playing around, it is not much fun anymore. lol. The fun wore off~~ THANK GOODNESS! I just hate it when I waste time on things that don't accomplish anything. All of that time I wasted and I could have had the cake orders done or even made some new cu items or what I really should have done was looked for some tutorials for PSE! I really need to learn a few things! lol.
Later tonight I will be putting some pages up and maybe even some new previews for CU items that will be on sale next week~~YEE HAW!!! I can't wait to show off all of the wonderful things that I have created. It's like they are busting outta the folders wanting to be put on show!lol. They ARE much to beautiful and old and grungy to be stuffed away in my jammed packed computer files~lol. New C.U. 'Homegrown' Collection Sets

Just had to show a few of my new C.U. goodies that will be on sale starting next week. I am so very excited to get these out! It is my new collection called "Homegrown". Everything in this collection is from right here on our farm. Even the feathers that I have photographed came off of my Dad's chickens~ lol. I did NOT pull them off~lol, they were on the ground, I promise ;) Everything in my 'Homegrown' Collection will delight any page, like the beautiful flowers we have growing here- they will add a touch of beauty from your baby photos to the vintage pictures of old. Or the old pair of jeans that I have ripped and shredded and photographed (and extracted for hours and hours~lol) they will look great on many different pages, and best is they are COMMERCIAL USE so you can use them to create your own fantastic elements or even a texture! Whisper Kit ~

This kit is HUGE! The preview does not show all, and certainly doesn't do it justice. I have had to put it into 3 folders/ downloads because of the file sizes. If you are on dial up it will take awhile.I know it's not a Christmas kit, but it is a keeper~~lol. Almost 180 MBs in this kit!!

Next week I will be putting out a CT Call so keep your eyes open. There will be ALOT of good things to come to those who become my CT! Christmas 2007

I just wanted to share a scrap page that I made from Christmas 2007. WOW! It sure doesn't seem like it's been 2 years! I was thinking this was last years Christmas but it wasn't. The older I get that faster time goes. When I was young I used to hear all of the elders talk of how time passed so quickly and couldn't imagine what they were talking about because to me it seemed as though I would never be 16 or 18, be old enough to drive or have my own place. BOY! If I only knew~~ I would have soaked up being 10 and 12 years old and enjoyed myself more! lol.

The photos are of my Dad and Uncle Lonnie, my oldest son Michael- my Mom and Dad, two of my nieces and my son Michael. Don't forget poor Santa sitting for a spell soaking his feet. These are Christmas decorations at Mom and Dad's. The Santa sitting makes an awful moaning sound from his sore feet and then a sigh of relief when put into the bowl, and the Santa lying on the bed snores a REALLY REAL and loud snore~lol. As I was helping Santa that year for my nieces, Santa just about scared me out of the house!lol.
